Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are eager to get the update to Android 8 Oreo, especially since the first news was that it will be in mid-April. Well, now we are mid-April, but there is no update. And there will be no until next month.

The information comes from a Turkish site, which is often used by Samsung for official announcements, so we can assume it as reliable. According to them, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will be updated to Android 8.0 Oreo on May 18th. This is not the only update that will be delay.

The Samsung Galaxy A7, A5 and A3 (2017) will be updated on June 1. Keep in mind that the dates are obvious for Turkey, but in any case give a good indication of when we can expect the update to happen. In addition, unlocked versions of the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge will be the first, and then the operators will come in line. Post from: GizBrain
