The news, confirmed by the company in its Twitter profile, may look like something normal for the current flagships (the Galaxy S5 also had an IP67 rating), but in this case the model became the first OnePlus handset with this feature.

Now we know OnePlus 6 will have some IP certificate. Phones with this certificate have some kind of form of immersion in water, but the exact parameters depend on the numbers on the certificate.
