John Legend’s newest music video became the first to be shot entirely with Pixel 2. Google and the singer have been partnering for a while, as John Legend has just been the face of a Google Assistant AD with his wife.

To show Pixel 2’s photo capabilities, the internet giant and musician have created a full music video. Indeed, watching the video makes it hard to say that it is not shot with professional equipment, especially since most of it includes scenes are in low light.

In addition, the original video app has been replaced with another program that gives more functionality. Various techniques related to the light and the position of the phone complement the process.

This is not the first time a smartphone developer is looking for a partnership with stars to showcase their camera capabilities. In 2015, Apple shot an entire episode of the Modern Family series with the iPhone, and recently Huawei teamed up with the model and photographer Helena Christensen to advertise the new P20 Pro.
