The Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+ may be the hottest devices on the market, but in one place they are below expectations. And it is not elsewhere, but in the very home of the company – South Korea.

It seems that the local consumers don’t have a particular interest in both models because they lack significant improvements over the previous generation. Although they are quite impressive, the new camera and AR emoji are obviously are not that super-attractive feature that the company has hoped for.

Another reason for the weak sales is the lack of significant design differences between the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S9. The appearance between the two phones does not differ greatly except for the location of the fingerprint scanner and the different colors.

This may be not enough for those looking for a new model, especially if they own the Galaxy S8 or the Galaxy S8+.
