Qualcomm announced the official list of supported smartphones for its new Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging technology. Traditionally, most high end models support this method, and over the years Quick Charge has evolved to its current dastard 4.0 / 4.0+ version.

Interestingly if you expect to see at least some of the latest models, you will actually be disappointed. Currently only one device is fully compatible with Quick Charge 4.0, and it’s not even a flagship in itself. It’s the Razer Phone for the gaming fan.

Interestingly, ZTE Nubia Z17 for some reason not included in, and it actually supports the new Quick Charge option. Of course, it is quite likely that more models will appear before the end of the year. Such a candidate is the LG G7, which is supposed to be a Quick Charge 4.0 model. Post from: GizBrain.
