Huawei P20 likely to be revealed on March 27 in Paris
In the beginning of 2018 Huawei is in a strange position. Mate 10 Pro who is a really good device, will not be released on the US market as originally planned due to pressure from the United States government.
This has done a pretty big blow to the company, but she is already looking to shake it off in just a few months with her next flagship phone – P20. Huawei’s press center has sent invitations to an event to be held in Paris on March 27, and although P20 is not specifically mentioned in them, the “flagships” will obviously be from the P20 family.
So what do we know about the phone? We can confirm that it will be called P20 and not P11, and according to rumors there will be three cameras on the back. Huawei’s P-series has become somewhat emblematic for testing new and exciting things in the camera, so such an improvement will not be a big surprise.
The triple cameras on the Huawei P20 will be able to take three photos at once and those three images will then be merged into a single 40-megapixel photo. The device is also rumored to arrive with a 24MP front-facing camera. All of the cameras in the P20 are co-developed by German camera maker Leica.
We also expect the P20 to be equipped with the same processor Kirin 970, which has Mate 10 Pro, and will work with Android 8.0 or 8.1 Oreo. It will be available in three different versions – P20, P20 Lite and P20 Plus.
