Garmin announces the next generation of its Vivofit range of smart fitness trackers the Vivofit 4. The main feature here is the company promise that the gadget will have a one year battery life without any recharging – a definitely serious advantage for those who live an active life and don’t want to deal with the need to charge one more device.

Garmin Vivofit 4 tractors are designed to be worn 24 hours a day and can be use in both under the shower and the pool. They can be connected to a smartphone for additional features, but are also completely independently operating devices.

However, the connection to the phone enables them to monitor your sleep, and thanks to the Move IQ technology they measure your walking, running, swimming, cycling activities.
