Sony added Google Assistant to its 4K HDR TVs running Android TV. The voice assistant is now available for all 2017 models and selected versions since 2016. Users can now control their TVs, smart homes, and use the Google search engine with their voice.

Sony says the supported models from 2016 are XBR – Z9D, XBR – X800D and X BR – X750 / X700D. All Sony TVs from 2017 will have Google Assistant after the software update available since today.
