HMD Global will release the Nokia 2 smartphone in November. This was clear from a response to a consumer inquiry on Nokia’s official Myanmar Facebook page.

The brand’s division confirmed that the smartphone will appear in Southeast Asia in November. However, the company did not specify dates for the release.

Nokia 2 has been the subject of rumors for several months. It is expected to be HMD Global’s most affordable smartphone, outperforming even the budget Nokia 3.

The device was already sighted in several benchmark databases and is likely to come equipped with a 4.7-inch IPS LCD panel with an HD resolution of 1,280 by 720 pixels amounting to a regular widescreen aspect ratio of 16:9.

The Nokia 2 will be aimed at the most affordable market segment where it will try to stand out using its famous brand and the fact that it’s running a stock version of Android 7.1 Nougat.

Leaked benchmarks claim that Nokia 2 will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 chipset with a clock speed of 1.27 GHz, accompanied by 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of built-in memory, which can be enhanced by a microSD card.
