Sharp was one of the first companies to launch a bezels-less smartphone a year ago, and apparently the company continues to make such smartphones as the latest proof is Aquos S2.

Aquos S2 has a 5.5-inch 2K screen that goes around the front camera, and on the bottom has a fingerprint sensor built into the physical Home Button.

In fact, we can also compare the phone to Andy Rubin’s Essential smartphone. On the back the Sharp’s phone remind of what iPhone 8 should represent. He has a dual camera that is vertically oriented.

It has F/1.75 lenses and LED flash. The Aquos S2 will be available in two versions – the first one will feature the Snapdragon 630 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of flash memory, and the second Snapdragon 660 processor with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory.

Both models are equipped with 3,020mAh batteries, a fingerprint sensor and are powered by Android 7.0 Nougat. Unfortunately, they will only be sold in China. It’s unclear whether the smartphone will reach other markets.

Sharp is already taking pre-orders in China. The standard model with Snapdragon 630, is priced at 2,499 yuan (about $370), and it comes in black, white, blue or mint green. The premium model due to arrive later is will cost 3,499 yuan (about $520). Post from: GizBrain
