Today we can be enjoy the first gameplay of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Origins which will be released on October 27 this year. The game was announced today at E3 2017 at a press conference of Microsoft.

The action at Assassin’s Creed Origins will take place in ancient Egypt, confirmed Jean Guesdon, the creative director of the game.

“Journey into Ancient Egypt, the most mysterious place in history, during a crucial period that will shape the world,” reads a Ubisoft blog post.

“Discover the secrets behind the Great Pyramids, forgotten myths, the last pharaohs, and – engraved in long-lost hieroglyphics – the origin story of the Assassin’s Brotherhood.”

The game features a “deep RPG progression” system, as well as free-form quests that players can tackle at their own pace.

“Pick and tackle quests at your own pace: each of them tells an intense and emotional story full of colorful characters and meaningful objectives.”

The game has impressive graphics and RPG-style weapons and items collection. In addition, the protagonist leads an ongoing dialogue with himself to add a dose of context to the action. The title looked quite original, and Ubisoft apparently tried to recreate the majestic ancient Egypt and its secrets.
