The popular series of Call of Duty may return to Nintendo’s console after a rumor has appeared on the internet that the upcoming game will run on Switch. The reason for speculation is a photo that Canadian studio Beenox released on Twitter.

The tweet translates as: “We have two representatives from the Canadian army who tell us about their experience and their job!”

This is the studio that made the ports of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and Modern Warfare Remastered for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The fact that the studio is again involved with Call of Duty is interesting because this year the shooter will not have Xbox 360 / PlayStation 3 version.

This may mean that Canadians will make another port and it can only be for Switch. After Call of Duty was regularly released for Wii and DS, the series practically missed Wii U and 3DS, so it would be interesting to see if Switch’s initial success changed Activision’s mind.

Furthermore, Activision has updated their Call of Duty website allowing you to link your Nintendo Account to your CoD profile. Previously, you were only able to link your PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, and Steam accounts. Source: PVPLIVE
