Samsung Z4 new budget Tizen phone to debut in India
Samsung adds a new, Tizen-powered smartphone to its big mobile catalog. The new model is called Z4. The Tizen operating system, which is widely advertised as the more open alternative to Android, takes an important place in Samsung’s strategy and is now powered by many of the giant’s smartwatches as well as the company’s televisions.
The most interesting part of the Samsung Z4 may be that it launches with Tizen 3.0, a brand-new version of the OS. Tizen 3.0 comes with support for the new “Vulkan” graphics API, a switch from the X Window System to Wayland (Tizen is really Linux-based), 64-bit support, multi-user support, Samsung’s S-Voice voice assistant, and tons of other features.
However when we talk about smartphones, Tizen has not been developed well, and the new Samsung Z4 is only the fourth phone to use it. The original Samsung Z1 was released in early 2015, and Samsung Z2 followed nine months later. Samsung Z3 became the first 4G Tizen phone after it debuted last August.
The new 4G comes with 4.5-inch WVGA (480 × 800) display, 1 GB RAM, a 1.5-GHz processor and a 5-megapixel front and rear camera. It will be the first model in the series with 2.5D curved glass on the display. His price will not exceed $100. The phone will debut in India at the end of this month. Post from: GizBrain
