Aston Martin unveiled its hypercar ‘Valkyrie’ (gallery)
The new hypercar of Aston Martin will be called Valkyrie and will be completely legal to drive on the road, despite its track characteristics.
The car is the work of Aston Martin and Red Bull and will be produced only 175 units, 150 of them will be able to go on the road, and 25 only on the track. All they have already sold out, and the cars will arrive with their owners starting later this year.
The car will be powered by a 6.5-liter V12 engine, which is rated at 820 hp and was made by Cosworth. Especially for it they have use a number of advanced technologies from F1.
Aston Martin Valkyrie is the ratio between weight and power 1:1 or in other words, weighs only 820 kg.
Top speed is 400 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 320 km/h is only about 10 seconds.
