Kreisel Electric Mercedes-Benz G-Class for Arnold Schwarzenegger
The Austrian company Kreisel build all-electric Mercedes-Benz G-Klass at the request of Arnold Schwarzenegger. The SUV is made in a single copy and has two motors with an output 490 hp.
Kreisel has extensive experience in the conversion of gasoline and diesel vehicles to electric. Some of the projects of the Austrians are a Volkswagen Golf, Porsche Panamera, BMW 3er and other models. The company develops its own batteries and is building a plant for batteries with a total capacity of 800,000 kWh per year.
The Electric G-Class is equipped with two blocks batteries weighing 510 kg and a capacity of 80 kWh. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 5.6 seconds and top speed reaches 183 km/h. From Kreisel claim that the mileage on a single charge exceeds 300 km.
Externally the electric G-Klasse differs from the standard only by the emblem of Kreisel. The plugin for charging the batteries is hidden under the tank cap. In the salon tuning testified new instrument panel without tachometer and the picture of the petrol is replaced by a battery.
