Although there is still work on the “spaceship” of Apple, we can now show you a video that shows the progress of the project in recent months. In fact, this video is a compilation of previous footages that show how the construction is developing in time.

The first dig was made at the end of 2013, and now Apple has the final straight before the completion of the building in the shape of a donut. The new campus of Apple should be open in early 2017 and will provide 260,128 square meters area, where we employ more than 13,000 employees.

The building will be energy independent because of the huge number of solar panels on the roof that will provide 5 megawatts of power. This will make the new campus one of the largest solar installations in the world.

In the building even will be produced food for the huge number of employees. Outside there will be hundreds of cherries, apricots, plums and of course the apple trees. This architectural marvel will definitely become and a magnet for tourists, who want to see it from close.
