Each subscription movie with UHD (4K) quality cost $7.99. For comparison, the standard price for HD subscription is $3.99.

The purchase of 4K films range from $24.99 USD to $29.99, compared to $12.99 for HD versions. However it’s possible that newer titles to cost more.

Unfortunately, currently there is no option to upgrade previous HD purchases to UHD. Obviously Google is simply testing this function, and with the time we can expect improvements and much more titles. Post from: GizBrain
