Garmin has released a new version of its Fenix ​​3 smartwatch, which is intended to be used in water sports. Garmin Quatix 3 is a smartwatch that can monitor your water activities and visualize data directly on the dial, allowing you to keep an eye on things.

If you own action camera Garmin – Virb, you can control it remotely from the watch. Quatix 3 is able to connect with Garmin Connect mobile application to track data from your smartphone. The watch keeps accurate data on tides in the area in which you are.

The device also support GPS and GLONASS as its predecessor and can work 20 hours in this mode. If you prefer to use it only as a watch, the company promises that the battery will give you up for six weeks before needing to charge it again. The battery is 300mAh lithium-ion, and the watch weight is 3.0 oz (85 g).

Garmin Quatix 3 withstand up to 100 meters under water, and the glass is sapphire coated. The watch will be available in Q1 of 2016 at a price of $599.99.
