Misfit-Shine-2-Black

Fossil Group, the company behind the watches of Adidas, DKNY, Michael Kors, Burberry and Emporio Armani, already owns the Misfit. The deal is worth 260 million dollars, and Sonny Wu, founder and CEO of Misfit, is now chief technology officer and president of Fossil.

The first smart products from the Fossil should be on the shelves in 2016. Recall that Misfit produce affordable fitness tracker that work extremely long with simple battery for watches because they don’t have display they use only LED indicators. The company offers its products independently, but also through partnerships with Speedo and Swarowski.

Fossil sells over 50 million watches a year and the brands of the company are recognized worldwide. This should give a serious advantage of Misfit.
