iphone6-touchID

The new update to iOS 9.1 brings problems with Touch ID, say in the forum of Apple. According to them the iPhone often fails to recognize the fingerprint forcing them to manually enter the security code.

According to them not only that recognition is slow, but sometimes stop working entirely.

“Touch ID was working normally before installing iOS 9.1. After reboot and the inclusion of low power mode, it stopped working,” wrote user fentium.

“I use the iPhone 6S to 64 GB and upgrade to iOS 9.1 a few days ago,” says another user. “Touch ID has become too slow and sometimes does not work at all after several attempts, which leads me to enter my password.”

Some users have tried to resolve the issue through hard reset, but it has not helped. It is not clear whether the problem affects only the new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus or all.

Apple has declined to comment to CNET. However, we are confident that the problem will be fixed in the next update.
