Gplus-youtube

In a blog post Google announced that over the next few months “Google profiles will be all you will need to share content, interact with people, create YouTube Channels and more”

The decision comes several months after Google stopped forcing users to create new accounts in Google+. Google also stops Google+ features like Photos, releasing them as separate products, a strategy that will continue. “We’ll run location sharing on Hangouts and other applications where it really belongs,” said Bradley Horowitz from Google. “We believe that these changes will lead to a more focused, more useful and engaging Google+.”

YouTube will be among the first major services that, will be move away from Google+. From today YouTube comments, which were merged with those of Google+ in 2013, will no longer appear in your profile on the social network. But creating a channel in YouTube, uploading videos or comments without putting Google+ will be terminated within a month, the company said.

Google believes that their social network is here to stay and will continue to provide “interesting social experiences” for consumers. But for everyone else, finally will be much easier to leave from Google+ in the coming weeks.
