MakerBot

Fifth generation MakerBot 3D printers is not particularly smooth. A number of users complained of foul extruders (the part that melts and causes layers), but Stratasys, the parent company of MakerBot, refuses to recognize the problem.

According to witnesses in the case team Stratasys was too busy with business plans for rapid growth, so pay attention to the quality and complaints of Engineers. Once users start to complain, the company closed its Google Groups forums instead respond appropriately. Prosecutors argue that Stratasys was aware of the problem, but did not want to solve it, to not slow and make more expensive the production.

The company still has not made an official statement on the subject.
