Facebook first introduced its new feature “Instant Articles” for iOS last month, offering only a small part of content from the partner publishers. But that will soon change. The Wall Street Journal reported that the partner publishers are ready to increase their “Instant Articles” along with The New York Times, who are willing to place a maximum of 30 stories a day online in the new format.

NBC News had planned to publish a similar number of instant articles a day, say From The Wall Street Journal, while BuzzFeed and The Atlantic are working to make their products available through the new function as soon as possible. New articles are currently available only for the Facebook app for IOS with short videos designed to load quickly on mobile devices.

The new feature was introduced on May 13 with stories from National Geographic, The New York Times, The Atlantic and BuzzFeed, but up unaided for a small number of users to gauge their reaction. Previously, a number of partners on Facebook publicly expressed concern about the role of Facebook as a distributor of news state, but those concerns appear to have been reassured by the positive results of the initial test of instant articles.

As regards the period of time between the start of the function and the release of the full story, there from Facebook, said earlier this month that it planned in slowly unfolding all the time – first to collect feedback on the original articles before in ultimately allow publishers to export instant articles whenever they want.
