E3 gaming event of 2015 has a lot of great news for those who own Xbox and PlayStation consoles, but PC users should not feel neglected too much. Today it became clear that Gears of War Ultimate Edition is coming to Windows PC, allowing gamers to enjoy the action in high resolution and high FPS.

Formerly known as Gears of War Remastered, Microsoft lowered the curtain at E3 and gave a different name – Ultimate Edition. The new game will support 4K resolution and will take advantage of the latest DirectX 12, which will debut with Windows 10.

Rod Ferguson gaming developer Coalition hinted that future Gears of War 4 could also potentially be ported for the PC. “Maybe” and “future” really are not phrases that evoke confidence, but still give some hope.

At the same time, a game that dates back to 2013 named Killer Instinct, also will be available for PC – it said Phil Spencer of Xbox. Moreover – Killer Instinct will receive cross-platform support, allowing gamers to play together in multiplayer of Xbox One and PC. So far, no other game does support such a feature.
