oneplus2-geekbench-A2001

For months, we hear rumors about the successor of the popular OnePlus One smartphone. Today, however, in GeekBench benchmark test, a new device for which it believes that is precisely OnePlus Two.

The test does not reveal many features, but it is clear that the heir will use the Android 5.1 operating system and a eight-core processor running at a clock speed of 1.55 GHz.

It is assumed that the chip is Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, which is claimed to overheat. Recently marketing vice president of Qualcomm Tim McDonough called the rumors “nonsense”.

The code name of the new device is A2001. The first generation OnePlus One was called A0001.

From previous reports we know that OnePlus 2 will look more “premium” than its predecessor, and it will cost more.

OnePlus in turn confirmed that OnePlus 2 will hit the market in 2015, but no information on when exactly that will happen.
