After a long lull Guitar Hero will return this fall – the latest edition of the game named Guitar Hero Live is a simulator of a rock concert in the first person. The price of the game will be $99 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and 4, Wii U and “selected mobile platforms.” Mobile version of Guitar Hero Live will connect to your TV and your controller just as the console editions. The controller has also been upgraded – instead of colored plastic buttons guitar already has two columns of three buttons at the top of the fretboard. Their press will meet more of the real logic of guitar playing.

The game will have two modes – the main Live, which simulates a live performance group and audience, and Guitar Hero TV – interactive channel with music videos. If you choose to play the simulation of the concert, you can immerse yourself in a realistic environment with adequate reactions from the audience. If you play well, it is enthusiastic, and other members of your group are encouraging. Otherwise the audience and your colleagues on the scene began to get nervous and act rude. In the TV version you will be able to compete with your friends or play alone. This game mode can be described most accurately as an interactive version of MTV – channels with different styles and artists running around the clock, and you turn on and start to play with them. In Guitar Hero TV will have a list of videos on demand, songs in which you can start playing whenever you want. It is not yet clear whether this functionality will be paid. More information about the new edition of the game will have in June, and its title will be available this fall.
