Microsoft introduced iOS version of Office Lens – application that allows you to scan documents and inscriptions. The service is available for Windows Phone about a year, and the Android version is still in test mode and can be downloaded from Google Play. If you’re still curious, you will find a link with instructions to download a test version of the application below.

Office Lens can scan documents, whiteboards and other surfaces with text written by hand. The application automatically detects corners of the document eliminates the distortion caused by the perspective of the photo and clears unnecessary details. Most printed texts are recognized automatically, which means that you can manipulate and edit documents in Word. Each scanned document can be converted to a text file, PDF or presentation to be shared in OneDrive, OneNote or mail. You can download the Office Lens for iOS here and test Android version here.
