In the dark network already sold stolen Uber accounts
AlphaBay, a popular shopping portals in the dark part of the Internet, now offers Uber stolen accounts. Motherboard publish interviews with anonymous traders who offer foreign accounts for between one and five dollars, which is the price of less than a mile run in New York.
Once someone bought a similar account can travel with it, using a foreign bank account and consider the history of the true owner. Profiles already sold hundreds, but it is unclear exactly how merchants acquire them. Probably a weakness in the security of servers Uber, but it is possible to be involved insiders.
