Qualcomm Quick Charge technology started several years ago. It provides faster charging of compatible devices. Although HTC was one of the first companies to launch a special charger, which promised 40% faster charging and other phones recently benefited from technology.

The updated version of Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 was released in 2014, but we have not seen an example for loading speed, providing it. Fortunately, Qualcomm recently released a video on YouTube, which demonstrated rapid charging. For this purpose there are three Nexus 6 smartphone with three different chargers: 5 Volts / 1 Amp conventional charger, 5 Volts / 2 Amps conventional battery and charger Quick Charge 2.0 from Qualcomm.

The video shows how ten minutes three Nexus 6 smartphone reach different percentage levels. The phone with 5 Volts / 1 Amp charger reaches 6%, this 5 Volts / 2 Amps reached 9 percent, and the one connected to Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 charger reaches 14%.

After 20 minutes the levels achieved by the batteries were respectively 10%, 17% and 26%. After 30 minutes: 16%, 24% and 38%. And after 40 minutes of battery Nexus 6 smartphones reach 22%, 32% and 50%.

The video proves that Quick Charge 2.0 offers up to 75% faster charging. Of course, time and rates depend on the particular device and the size of its battery, so other models smartphones or tablets results will be different.
