Amazon begun to test drones for delivery
Federal Aviation Administration in the United States gave official permission to Amazon to test drones their supply of goods by air. Prime Air program launched in December 2013, but since then has not made significant progress because of legal regulations. Debut video service was filmed outside the US, and about a year ago Amazon threatened to move and their research teams abroad.
Authorization tests is great news, but do not get excited too much – still no certainty when Prime Air will be available to consumers and whether it will ever happen. Own test flights will take place in very limited circumstances. Drones should not leave the sight of the man who manages them. Another odd requirement of the authorities, whoever manages test drones of Amazon, must have a valid private pilot certificate and current medical records.
