Now a team of researchers at SRI International created a new technology that greatly simplifies production and also reduces its price. Their method is based on the use of plasma arcs that produce titanium steam, which is then hardened and turned it into a powder. Thanks to it, scientists not only reduces the production time, but also the energy consumption and the final product cost.

In this way they hope to accelerate its entry, which can lead to much lighter and thinner mobile gadgets and cars on the market. It will be interesting to track how it will continue to develop this technology, as it has the potential to change the vision of our smartphones and tablets. We can only hope that soon we will see the first device in the global market, which is equipped with a titanium body.
