HTC and Valve managed to surprise all the MWC 2015 with their VR (virtual reality) goggles Re Vive. But the event is not heard what will be the price.

Now Jeff Gattis from HTC, which is responsible for the marketing of related products of the Company, commented:

“We want to provide the best possible VR experience the world has ever seen. This is not marketing talk, and an index where the Vive market. This is the highest class. Starting from the most advanced system, even if it is slightly higher price, this is the right thing from a strategic perspective. The price can always go down as the market grows.”

Gattis added that eventually the industry will lower the prices down over time, which could happen when other devices arrive with different form factors. When the market be put Oculus Rift, Project Morpheus, Re Vive and others, we can talk about any real competition to drive prices down.

Oculus Rift is expected to cost about $400 and Re Vive will most likely have a higher price than that. HTC and Valve certainly have some convincing arguments to announce a higher price.
