Microsoft has confirmed the end of Internet Explorer
Say “goodbye” of Internet Explorer. Microsoft will now use the new name for its upcoming browser, which is currently codenamed Project Spartan. Speaking at Microsoft Convergence, Chief Marketing Microsoft’s Chris Capossela revealed that the company is currently working on a new name and brand. “We are currently examining what should be the new name or new name for our browser in Windows 10,” said Capossela. “We continue to have Internet Explorer, but also have a new browser called Project Spartan, which must name somehow.”
Internet Explorer will continue to exist in some versions of Windows 10, but mostly for corporate purposes. New Project Spartan will be announced separately and will be the primary way to surf the Internet in Windows 10.
Microsoft made many unsuccessful attempts to shake off the negative image of Internet Explorer in recent years with a series of fun mocking campaigns to Internet Explorer 6. Ads not improved the situation and now the former head of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer Dean Hachamovitch left the company in December, signals a new era for the company’s browser.
Chris Capossela showed dashboard with statistics from a study in the UK, which shows that the use of the word Microsoft before the secret name of the new browser, increasing its attractiveness for some users of Chrome.
It is unclear when the company plans to present the final name for the successor of Internet Explorer. Satya Nadel has changed the company fundamentally and certainly the new name will be not close to the present.http://szlifestyle.com/sz/2015/03/19/microsoft-has-confirmed-the-end-of-internet-explorer/https://i1.wp.com/szlifestyle.com/sz/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/sz_internet_explorer.jpg?fit=640%2C439https://i1.wp.com/szlifestyle.com/sz/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/sz_internet_explorer.jpg?resize=150%2C150TECH NEWSMicrosoftSay 'goodbye' of Internet Explorer.
