In October last year, the head of the Slovak AeroMobil Juraj Vaculik announced plans to launch aeromobile. The other day at the festival South by Southwest in Austin (TX US) was presented latest aeromobile model, which is expected to go on sale in two years.

The main difference from the usual car aeromobile are side wings, which are put forward before the flight. Obvious obstacles AeroMobil to achieve the goal – is to obtain the necessary permits and related infrastructure. Vaculik hopes to begin selling a flying car in 2017 and is counting on strong support from the European Union. It is reported that the current model called Flying Roadster runs on gasoline engine and offers two seats. For takeoff and landing strips long enough to at least 300 meters. The maximum speed that the machine is able to develop in the air, reaching almost 200 km/h, on the ground – 160 km/h. Power reserve is about 650 kilometers.

Originally aircar will afford only wealthy people, since its price will reach several hundred thousand dollars. However, over time the price will decline due to the displacement of obsolete technologies with new ones. Usually what happens.

We need a new revolution, a revolution in personal transportation – said Vaculik.

In case of successful sales Flying Roadster, AeroMobil plans to release a self-administered version of the flying car.
