Apple’s notebooks with USB-C will allow the use of external batteries
Most Commented feature of the new MacBook, which Apple announced earlier this week, is the presence of a port in the new specification USB-C. Although the choice of the company is quite restrictive, we can only be glad that it goes to industry standard which will ensure compatibility with all accessories. USB-C supports charging, fast data transfer and video to 4K displays, in only one cable.
The good news for Mac users is that Apple will allow charging of notebooks with external accessories, which was almost impossible for models with MagSafe connector. Several companies were able to bypass the secure standard, but the solutions are far from perfect. Pretty soon we are expecting accessories, which will be able to charge, smartphones, tablets and laptops, without relying on different cables.
