Late last night, Google posts a message on his blog, which notifies users of Android, that the update of Lollipop with 5.1 is here. According to Google it improves stability and performance and offers several new features such as support for multiple SIM cards, security devices and HD voice calls on compatible phones.

Whether you want to share your phone with a family member or you better manage your mobile expenses Android Lollipop 5.1 now allows you to use more than one SIM card, if the device supports it.

With enhanced protection, lost or stolen smartphone will remain locked until you sign in with your Google Account – even if some of it back to factory settings. This feature will be available on most Android phones and tablets when they receive Android 5.1, not only in Nexus 6 and 9 Nexus.

With HD voice calls will hear everything crystal clear. Android 5.1 Lollipop also provides improvements such as the ability to connect to Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth control functions directly from the Quick Settings panel.

“We hope you enjoy these delicious additions to Android Lollipop, as you get more from your Android phone and tablet” said Dave Burke from Google.
