At the end of last year from Sony came out with a very pleasant news – all smartphones series Xperia Z (including its first representative) will receive the update to version Android 5.0. If you are among the owners of Xperia Z smartphone, you’re lucky. Unfortunately not as good sounding things for people bet on other models of the Japanese manufacturer.

According to the official Twitter account of the company “Android Lollipop will be available only for smartphones series Xperia Z”. This means that the models in 2014, including the Xperia E3, Xperia M2 Aqua, Xperia M2, Xperia C3, Xperia T3, Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia E1 will remain at the level of KitKat.

We can only hope that Sony will change their decision, since those models at least hardware are fully fit to cope with the latest operating system from Google. This year the Japanese manufacturer presented Xperia M4 Aqua, which relies on Android Lollipop, a new E4 and E4g will receive the latest version of the operating system later this year.
