BlackBerry officially presented its new Leap midrange smartphone at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. It has a 5-inch full touchscreen 720p screen, 4G LTE connectivity and has the latest version of BlackBerry 10 OS. The processor is clocked at 1.5 GHz, RAM is 2 GB, and the built-in 16 GB, but has a microSD slot that supports cards up to 128 GB. The battery is 2800 mAh, which according to official data lasts 25 hours per charge.

The device also has an 8-megapixel camera in the rear, which is able to shoot 1080p video at 30 frames per second. The front camera has 2-megapixel.

These characteristics are not unique, but the more interesting things are hidden in the operating system. BlackBerry 10 has a few neat features, including Amazon Appstore for downloading Android apps, as well as BlackBerry Assistant, with which you can quickly search for information on the network and send messages using your voice.

Of course, this business-oriented phone has all the advantages of BlackBerry, namely the proverbial security calls and sending text messages with BB Mesenger. Still no official information about the price of BlackBerry Leap.
