Line between fact and fiction, is quite thin and “fuzzy” in the movie Brothers Zelnar “Kumiko the Treasure Hunter”. You already know that in travel story about a Japanese woman in North Dakota is involved and “Fargo” Coen brothers. Werner Herzog called the movie “a very beautiful, deep and poignant” – and this, plus feedback from the various festival stops, inspires us to expect, despite the low probability of meeting the big screen.

The tragic tone in the story is the reality, as the basis for the film has elements from the real case of a Japanese woman, marched to look for treasure in the “guidance” of “Fargo” and found dead 14 years ago in the US. We like Rinko Kikuchi and we are confident that despite (and perhaps because) hippie / hobo “outfit” of her character, she naturally has merged with the image of its heroine.
