Earlier this month it became clear that on 12 February OnePlus will reveal information about OxygenOS – the operating system for the next generation of smartphones of the company. Although we expected a little more details about the operating system itself, OnePlus actually provide part of the team who worked on it. The main actors are Aaron Gascoigne, co-founder of the Paranoid Android (most popular Android ROM, if we exclude CyanogenMod), Arz Bhatia, Chief Designer Paranoid Android, Karim Freni, trainee software development at Google, and Helen Lee, a former worker of Microsoft. The team is completed by employees, mainly from Paranoid Android.

To correspond with changes, OnePlus has a new logo for your operating system. According to official information OxygenOS will be as close to AOSP (Android Open Source Project, open source Android), it will be very light, will prices battery life and be generous to the hardware. The official page of OnePlus comment:

“We promise that every added feature will be extremely useful. With OxygenOS want to create something that works, but is not an obstacle to consumers. Currently we do just that. ”
