This year, Apple managed to keep the information on the next iPhone better. Not yet have almost no reliable specifications, including the resolution of the display.

In the latest update of the beta version of Xcode (development environment of iOS and OS X software) OS X Yosemite but we find little evidence that might lead to the resolution of the display on the next iPhone. According to them, it will be 828 x 1472 pixels (414 x 736 if you do not crawl Retina graphics), which seems much more meaningful than until recently rumored 960 x 1704. Such a resolution would be passed Retina limit of 300 pixels per inch to 4-inch , 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch display, though still not sure whether we will see 5.5 inch phone. The new display will be both higher and wider, which will allow Apple to add two new lines and a new column of icons on the home screen.

In the event that Tim Cook and company decide to multiply the pixel density, which render the operating system from 2x to 3x, the screen could be a resolution of 1242 x 2208 pixels, but we are not sure that Apple can make such a big move without sacrificing the thickness, weight and battery life.
