New tablets from the LG G Pad series
Although a month ago LG introduced its new tablet MEDPI of 2014, today we have more information about them, thanks to a press release. New members of the family are G Pad 7, 8 and 10.1-inch display.
“Customers tell us that they would like a wider range of devices with a large enough screen without compromising mobility,” said Dr. Jong-Seok Park, President and Managing Director of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “Unlike smartphones, tablets with no maxim that one size fits all. That’s why we created the series G Pad, which provides solutions for a diverse group of users, some of which rely entirely on the portability of the device, while others want the best possible multimedia experience. G Pad offers all this.”
LG has sought an optimal balance between performance and price, according to information on the official website of the company. Three tablets are equipped with 4-core processor (1.2GHz), 1 GB RAM and True IPS HD display (1280×800 pixels). Models will be available in five colors (black, white, red, orange and blue), and in the design is based on the rounded forms that make the tablet more comfortable to hold with one hand.
G Pad 7.0 is the smallest tablet LG and portable entertainment center. Internal memory is 8GB and is available microSD card slot. The front camera is 1.3MP, and – 3MP. The battery is 4000mAh, and weighs 293 G Pad 8.0 must successfully combine high average size and multimedia experience. The internal memory is 16GB, and the main camera is also improved compared to the smaller model. Here it is 5MP. The battery is 4200mAh, and weight – 342 G Pad 10.1 has a larger display and serious battery (8000mAh).
The new tablet has some of the most interesting applications of UX LG – QPair 2.0 and Knock Code. Through the new version of QPair user can connect your Android smartphone with G Pad.
