Sales of Samsung Galaxy S5 reached 11 million units
If we can trust the information to JK Shin, CEO of Samsung, Galaxy S5 boasts excellent reception from consumers. The news appeared in The Wall Street Journal, to which Shin said that the company has already sold 11 million units of its newest flagship. Phone sales began in April. This is a better result than that achieved Galaxy S4 – for the same period last year model reached 10 million units. These result foreshadow an increase in market share of Samsung in the smartphone market, but higher revenues.
From the Wall Street Journal noted that the Galaxy S5 has a strong position in the developed countries (USA, Australia), where from Samsung managed to sign a contract with almost any mobile service provider. To achieve these figures helped by the fact that the flagship was put up for sale in 125 countries. On June 12, we expect more interesting stuff from Samsung, which will introduce new tablets, including the new line of Galaxy Tab S. If you are using Galaxy S5, share your opinion in the comments.
