Apple will likely announce OS X 10.10 Syrah, the next version of the desktop operating system at WWDC in June. As we reported some time ago, Syrah will be the biggest redesign of OS X from the announcement of the first version in 2001.

That the interface will be much more minimalist, relying on a flat visual aesthetics, more sharp edges and bright colors, but will not be fully in line with that of iOS 7. This makes perfect sense – Apple has always shared opinion according to which wants to unite the two operating systems.

Opposite to Microsoft, Tim Cook and company believe that touchscreen display and a combination of mouse / trackpad and keyboard need different interfaces. OS X Syrah should be free for all Mac users whose systems are fast enough to handle the updates.
