The battle between Apple and Google for software developers is becoming more aggressive
Apple and Google are more aggressively “pursue” game developers hoping to make their titles exclusive to their platforms. As a reward for their loyalty, publishers like Electronic Arts, Gameloft, and ZeptoLabs are “rewarded” with top positioning in the App Store and Google Play Store. However, neither Google, or Apple offered money or direct financial incentives to please developers, but provides them the top position in the online store can lead to a huge boost in sales of each game.
This is the case with the Apple and EA Games, in which the hit for Plants vs Zobies 2 was exclusive for iOS devices for three months. At the same time, some developers rejected the tempting offers of Apple and launch their games for both platforms simultaneously. This is a clear sign of the growing influence of Android.
However, you can not deny that most quality titles come first for iOS devices. Once developers have said that the creation of software for mobile devices Apple is much easier task than for Android. But there’s a logical explanation. Apple has only one smartphone and two tablets with 10 and 8 inches, and Android developers must comply with literally hundreds of modifications, screen size and hardware features.
Battle continues for developers, but how far will reach Apple and Google still nobody knows.http://szlifestyle.com/sz/2014/04/22/the-battle-between-apple-and-google-for-software-developers-is-becoming-more-aggressive/https://i2.wp.com/szlifestyle.com/sz/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/sz_Apple_Google.jpg?fit=640%2C439https://i2.wp.com/szlifestyle.com/sz/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/sz_Apple_Google.jpg?resize=150%2C150TECH NEWSApple,GoogleApple and Google are more aggressively 'pursue' game developers hoping to make their titles exclusive to their platforms.
