As expected several months ago, Adobe announced the iPad version of its photographic tool Lightroom. It is not a complete substitute for a desktop application and work with it.

To use Lightroom for iPad you must have a subscription to Creative Cloud. Lightroom provides five main options for correction of RAW files and synchronize with the desktop version in real time. The idea of the application is to allow amateurs and professionals to process images on the road and finish them on their computers, but also be able to carry your entire library with you.

Unfortunately, more complex manipulations known from Lightroom for Windows and OS X, are not available. For example you can view the histogram, but not to manipulate. Download Lightroom for iPad here (App Store).
