Android 4.4 KitKat increased its market share
In early February with Android 4.4 KitKat worked about 2% of all devices that use the platform of Google. Two months later, the share of the new version of the mobile platform has more than doubled to 5.3%. In all likelihood, this change contributed part of updates to Samsung, LG, Sony and HTC released to consumers.
As a result, some older versions of Android lost market positions, though for the moment 4 Android Jelly Bean with its several different versions remains the most popular version with 61.4% market share. More interesting is that Android 2.3.3 is the third most popular version of the platform with a 17.8 percent attendance among users, while Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is present in only 14.3% of the devices.
