Government in Turkey has taken a new decisive step towards censoring the web. As we known, the authorities in Ankara imposed restrictions on the use of YouTube and Twitter in the country. The easiest solution for users was to use public DNS servers such as Google’s DNS servers instead of their suppliers, which local consumers start to use.

As a result, Twitter surged by 138% of messages coming from Turkey. According to a Google, the government not close this loophole and is now blocking and DNS servers of the company. So for local users who want to use Twitter and the full uncensored version of YouTube, remains only slightly more complex solution using VPN networks.
