The selection of fonts in Wikipedia over the years has always been chaotic. Currently servers encyclopedia requires your computer simply serif or serif font, which is not a huge problem for the articles on Latin (and, in this vein, Cyrillic).

Unfortunately, it is likely that some combinations of operating systems and browsers to choose not particularly readable fonts. Wikipedia makes the biggest redesign of typography so far, impose simple rules. Soon Wikimedia Foundation will require the use of larger, serif font for headlines and serif for the paragraphs .

The first elections that will probably only work under OS X, headlines are Georgia and Helvetica for paragraphs, while Windows will replace the second with Arial. See examples below.
