Google Play Music has long gives us the ability to upload and access to our music library using the mobile application, but now a new feature tucked away in the section with the experimental “laboratory” of Play Music, should make this process much easier.

Users can now upload music straight from the browser with a simple drag and drop. If the tracks are present in the vast music library to Google, they will automatically be added, otherwise they will just come up.

In addition to uploading through the browser, users can also select multiple folders that the service will monitor and take music there every time you open that added new songs in them. Your entire music library can be downloaded via the web interface, which essentially eliminates the need for the old Music Manager application.

From Google say they have added this new feature on the technology that was created the new Chrome Apps platform which allows to build more complex standalone applications compared with the older Chrome Web Apps. As the new Google Play Music mini- player that appears in the Chrome app launcher- a (assuming it is enabled). This player allows you to control your music – to give pause, skip forward or back, like through the “thumb” songs and see an image of the cover. If you listen to a playlist, it’s pretty easy way to manage your music collection without you having to use the full browser window.

From Google say they will implement these features to all users soon, but if you want you can plug it right now from the “lab” settings menu.
